Scanning & Archiving FAQ
Before you order.
What’s the difference between standard and premium film scanning?
Premium scanning captures higher resolution and dynamic range, ideal for exhibition-quality reprints or archival masters. Standard scanning is well-suited for everyday digitizing and sharing.
Can you scan a large collection of mixed formats?
Yes — negatives, slides, transparencies, and prints can all be scanned in one project. Call us for a bulk quote on large collections.
Will you color-correct faded or damaged originals?
Basic color correction is included. For heavier restoration work, ask about our Design & Layout retouching and image enhancement services.
Can I get prints made from my scans?
Yes — once scanned, your files can go straight into a fine-art or photographic print order.
