Finishing FAQ

Before you order.

What’s the difference between foamboard, gatorboard, and Dibond?

Foamboard is lightweight and best for indoor, short-term use. Gatorboard is denser and more durable — good for reusable signage. Dibond is rigid aluminum composite, built for a premium, frameless, long-lasting finish.

Can you mount something I printed elsewhere?

Yes — bring in your print and we’ll mount, laminate, or finish it to your chosen substrate.

Do you laminate both sides?

We can laminate single or double-sided depending on how the piece will be used — let us know when you order.

How does an easel back attach?

Easel backs are fixed to the rear of a mounted board and fold flat for shipping, then pop out to prop the piece up on a table or counter.
